History After half a life in manufacturing & service and searching for the ultimate hearing experience for the home HiFi set, I came across an iPod that immediately stole my heart. But I found that with all the cable manufacturers that are around there was not one of them that had a true High End cable available for connecting my iPod to my home HiFi set.
Now there are many things said about the quality of an iPod and MP3 but what counts for me is just what I hear!
And since I was not satisfied with the sound that I heard and knew that it could be improved, I started to build my own cables for connecting my iPod to my home HiFi set and to my headphone amplifiers.
I was amazed by the improvement that a simple home build cable could bring. Naturally the chain is only as strong as the weakest link so after many times upgrading and changing both equipment and the cable construction I came to a design of construction that was different then any other so far around. I combined the best sonic materials with parts of the common twisted technique but added my own 'flavour'. Instead of the most used common construction where the return/earth lead is at the outside of the cable in our cables it is at the centre of the cable. Friends coming by for listening were astonished as well and started asking if I could build them one as well and some even wanted RCA interlinks based on my technique. Then when I went public on the internet and forums I found that both price and technique were different and realised that there was a market for my cables. From then onwards the idea picked up speed and I started Qables to manufacture and sell the cable professionally.
Philosophy It is our philosophy to manufacture true High End cables for specialized connections in headphone, MP3 player, and HiFi component interconnections against a reasonable, affordable price without any compromise to the mechanical and sonic quality of the cables.
