0,5m black Silvercab cable
This audio cable has been designed to establish pure audiophile sound propagation.
The cores are made out of 0.4mm solid silver threads, because silver is one of the best electrical conductors having a very low impedance (lower then copper).
The signal wires are (parallel to each other) twisted around the return/earth lead.
The chosen dielectric (between the signal wires and the return/earth) is PE for this has nearly the same dielectric constant (ε) as PTFE (2.26 against 2.1 [compare: vacuum = 1, PS = 2.6, PVC = 2.9, ABS = 2.8-3.8]) but it is far more easier to process during manufacturing and more flexible.
The outer jacket is made out of a rubber compound (nitriel).
Directions for use.
The cable should always be handled with care taking into account that 0.4mm solid silver is more susceptible to breakage then braided wire.
The cable can be bend maximum 180 degrees using a minimum radius of 5cm. Excessive force or continuous bending should be avoided as much as possible.
Once taken into use and plugged into position, the cable will settle to the position/bend. If after a period of time the cable is relieved it will have a preference to maintain the position.
Do NOT use any force to alter the position.
Do NOT in any circumstances apply heat to alter the cable’s position.
Just handle/bend the cable carefully, after due time it will settle by itself in its new position.
Being made of solid silver it is advised to have the cable ‘burned in’ for at least 40-100 hours.
